Jewellery is art. Yes or no?
Absolutely yes

How did you choose the pieces on display for our gallery?
The pieces on display are a reflection of the universe I work within. My journey began in a craft tradition. I’m trained as a goldsmith, and honoring that way of working is central to my process. Each piece is developed intuitively, shaped with my hands rather than my thoughts. My creative outlet is deeply tactile, it’s about exploring the material through touch, making my process a sensory experience. I feel my way through each piece. In the end, the design emerges naturally. I never plan it ahead, but I trust my hands and, ultimately, the process itself.

How do you choose the material you work with?
A significant part of my work involves custom orders, often using clients' old silver or gold. I love giving these heirlooms a new life and hearing the stories behind the there’s something incredibly meaningful about that exchange. I fell in love with metal for its durability and versatility. It’s beautiful to me that something so strong can also carry such a long and enduring life.

What does scent mean to you?
I love a great scent! Whether at home or in my workshop, scents have a profound impact on my environment. They set the tone and elevate the space. That said, much of my work involves harsh, toxic smells, gas, heat, and acid are part of my everyday reality. Ventilation is essential, and I rely on my senses to protect myself in those moments. Beyond work, scents shape my experience of a moment, feeling, or place. But maybe that’s just part of being human, haha.
